As you can imagine, trees are a big part of our world. We are dismayed by the forest losses caused by the Australian bushfires and amazed by the story of brave firefighters saving ancient pines in Wollemi National Park. The fires have already cost the lives of over 20 individuals, burned thousands of homes, and destroyed wildlife across millions of acres, and they are still burning. Dozens of threatened animal and plant species are at higher risk of extinction and recovery efforts are daunting. These stories moved us to help in our own small way.
So, from Tuesday, January 21 until Monday, January 27, we will donate all of the profits from our native-to-Australia tree models to the New South Wales Rural Fire Service.
