We’re over halfway through 2019, summer has just begun, and Siggraph is fast approaching! Whether you’re taking a vacation or a lunch break, we’re here with our six favorite projects we shared in June 2019 to get you inspired for the month ahead!

Hossein Yadollahpour – The Dream House

Hossein Yadollahpour’s modern ocean-side dream home is lovingly detailed and lush with vegetation. The photo-real quality of this architectural visualization is surreal enough to soothe the viewer with its soft lighting and natural beauty.

Ivanna Liittschwager – Runic Power Environment

This enchanting environment made by Gnomon student Ivanna Liittschwager was created based on the novel “A Wizard of Earthsea,” by Ursula K. Le Guin. Sunlight streams into the otherwise dark cavern, revealing a captivating runic mystery.

Studio Hydralab – Danskespil Skrabe Diem

This animated advert created by the folks at Studio Hydralab is outstanding & they have a fantastic breakdown video accompanying it so you can really appreciate the work that went into making it!

Cihan Ozkan – Cabin

Cihan Ozkan’s architectural visualizations are often accompanied by photo-real environments and “Cabin” is no exception. The subdued colors of the landscape and overcast sky enhance the cozy warmth of the cabin lights.

Pierre-Lou GUILLORE – Flying Island

Because both Marion CARNAZZA and Pierre-Lou GUILLORE created fantastic takes on a floating island, we couldn’t choose and decided to have them both featured in our monthly round-up. Marion’s “Totem Island,” brings stylistic charm & Pierre-Lou’s “Flying Island,” keeps it real.

Looking for assets to get your next project started?
Here are 5 SpeedTrees inspired by this month’s roundup!

Wisteria

(Cinema)

The flowers growing around the trellis in Hossein Yadollahpour’s, “The Dream House” remind us of our wisteria, which is available growing around an arch, a fence, and as a ground creeper

Rock Fern

(Games)

Acclimated for shady mountain rock walls, the rock fern would be right at home in Ivanna Liittschwager’s “Runic Power Environment”

River Birch

(Games)

Adapted for hot climates in floodplains and swamps, the River Birch would thrive in the environment created by Studio Hydralab

Shagbark Hickory

(Cinema | Games)

This large, shady tree would be a welcome companion to the tree found in Cihan Ozkan’s “Cabin”

Tall Fescue Grass

(Cinema)

Though Marion and Pierre-Lou’s islands have different styles, they have one thing in common: nice grass. A nice grass we’d recommend for both trim and overgrown lawns is our Tall Fescue Grass
