Prunus serrula, colloquially known as the Tibetan Cherry, is a deciduous broadleaf well-known for its glossy reddish-brown bark. This remarkable color is caused by the peeling away of old bark over time, revealing the the tree’s trademark sheen underneath. In ideal conditions, this tree can grow from 20-30′ tall.
