Scots Pine
The Scots Pine is the most widely distributed conifer in the world. Despite this hardy evergreen’s widespread distribution, the Scots Pine forests in Scotland are distinct to those found elsewhere due to the absence of other native conifers. Because of its resilient reseeding capabilities, the Scots Pine is commonly used for reclamation sites. At maturity, the Scots Pine can reach heights of 60 feet tall and 40 feet wide.
