Nicklaus Design Course Forge is Perfect Parallel’s Golf Course design software and is used in house by Nicklaus Design for all their golf course designs. You will get to use the same tools that one of the most award winning designers of all time uses.  Already there are many user course creations that have been created by the community for the community. Community developed content can be played in Perfect Golf so long as you keep your game updated to the latest version.

We’ve made a select amount of trees available to Course Forge users to get them started. If you need more variety, any of SpeedTree’s Drop-in ready models for Unity can be used for Course Forge.  We have a broad selection of plantlife that is ready for Course Forge and Unity!

Adding SpeedTrees to Unity

SpeedTree’s middleware is already integrated into Unity, meaning that SpeedTree’s wind and LOD system works right out of the box.  To add the trees to your scene, simply unzip contents into the asset folder of your project.  Unity will automatically detect the trees and complete the import process. SpeedTrees can be added dropped as individual actors into the scene or painted on using the terrain system.

Editing SpeedTrees

The SpeedTree Modeler for Unity can be used to make variations on existing SpeedTrees or to create new ones from scratch. Available for $19 dollars a month, you can make as many variations as you need and keep using them after your subscription ends.

Use of this product is subject to the terms of the SpeedTree Model Library Components End User License Agreement.

This product is intended for use with Course Forge and Unity 5 and will function properly only with that software (specifically, version 5 beta or newer). This product is not a mesh or standalone asset, and cannot be used to create or export a mesh or standalone asset. It can be modified only with the SpeedTree for Unity Modeler.
